Gerry Stoia is President and Chief Executive Officer of Buyers Laboratory. Gerry has over 20 years of leadership experience in the global information services industry. During his two decade tenure with Reed Elsevier, Gerry was a key contributor to the development and launch of several electronic publishing initiatives; most notably Science Direct. Gerry also successfully ran several international information service companies within the Reed Elsevier portfolio and was responsible for driving accelerated growth via product development and organizational redesign. In addition, he led several acquisitions, integrations and divestures. Gerry earned a B.S. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University along with an M.B.A. from the same institution. A lifelong learner and teacher, Gerry completed in-residence Executive Education programs at the Harvard School of Business and the Warton Business School and he also teaches undergraduate business courses at several accredited universities.

In her role at the helm of Sales, Marketing and Product Development, Deanna is responsible for driving global growth for the full portfolio of BLI’s products. Deanna emphasizes a customer-first model, structuring the business and its product offerings around key customer needs. Prior to joining BLI, Deanna was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Elsevier Business Intelligence, a division of Reed Elsevier acquired by Informa. She has held management positions in the pharmaceutical industry for companies that include Roche Pharmaceuticals, Abbott Laboratories, and Knoll Pharmaceuticals. She earned her BS at the University of Toledo.
Chief Financial Officer
Brian O’Connor is the Chief Financial Officer of Buyers Lab, responsible for finance, accounting, and HR. Brian has over 15 years of corporate finance & accounting experience within the information, publishing and education industries. Prior to joining BLI, Brian served as Executive Director, Finance for Kaplan Test Prep’s Medical and Nursing divisions, with responsibilities ranging across FP&A, Accounting, Process Improvement, and Data & Analytics functions. He spent the first part of his career working with and leading finance teams within Reed Elsevier’s Pharma Solution division.
International Commercial Director
Gerry joined Buyers Lab after a 20+ year career in Business-to-Business information sales, management and business development. Most recently, Gerry ran International Business Development for Discovery Channel, International Education Division. In this role, Gerry was responsible for delivering and supporting large revenue projects involving long selling cycles and requiring persistence and relationship development skills. Previous to that role, Gerry was a management consultant for Outsell, the advisors to the scientific and business information publishing industries based in London. Before London, Gerry was based in Hong Kong for 10 years running the Dow Jones business information tool and a team of 25 staff across Asia. This business became Factiva. He also ran Lexis-Nexis Greater China and was involved with international IPO’s through the running of the Bowne Financial Printing business sales teams across Asia.
Vice President, Marketing
Mike Fergus is Vice President, Marketing for Buyers Laboratory, responsible for driving the overall product and marketing strategy. Before joining BLI, Mike was the Marketing Director for Informa Business Information (IBI) Pharma News division Formerly Elsevier Business Intelligence responsible for setting the strategy for the IBI Pharma News brand across all platforms including print, online, conferences, research, and data products. Prior to that, Mike was the Marketing Director at Euromoney/Institutional Investor News where he led the paid circulation of a suite of Institutional Investor News Capital Markets products. Mike has also held senior level marketing positions with Dow Jones & Company; Source Media & John Wiley & Sons.

Chief Human Resources Officer
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Angela is a key member of the BLI leadership team and has overall responsibility for talent recruitment, management and retention. She is also responsible for the company’s benefits, wellness and HRIS.
Angela brings over 20 years of H.R. experience to her job at BLI having successfully supported professional organizations in the fragrance/flavor chemicals industry as well as information and healthcare focused businesses. Prior to BLI Angela had successful stints at leading international companies such as Firmenich, Reed Elsevier and Sun Pharmaceutical’s Ohm Laboratories.
Angela excels in employee relations as well as talent recruitment and management. She also has experience supporting business operations outside the United States.
A graduate of Hofstra University with a B.A. in English (Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa), Angela is working toward her MS in Human Resources Management. She also earned her PHR certification in 2006 and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Jeff Hayes leads the InfoTrends analyst team and works directly with clients on strategy assignments in the production printing, office technology, and imaging industries. Prior to co-founding InfoTrends in 1992, Jeff was the Director of Electronic Imaging Consulting at BIS Strategic Decisions. Jeff has provided research and analysis for Adobe Systems, Canon, Hewlett Packard, International Paper, Ricoh, Sony, Xerox and other industry leaders. Jeff has extensive experience conducting primary research on customer requirements, determining the market potential for new printing and imaging products, and managing large, research-intensive projects. Jeff graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts.

Chris Jones is the Chief Technology Officer of Keypoint Intelligence, responsible for all Internal IT Operations and Application Development/Integration services for customers. Chris has over 20 years of IT experience in support and application development serving as Director of IT for InfoTrends for over 15 years and prior to that was in the IT support group at Giga Information Group (Now Forrester). Chris holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Vermont.
Director of Research and Lab Services, U.S./Asia
Pete Emory has over 25 years of industry experience, including time with Sharp (on the dealer side) and Mita (in its U.S. headquarters). He has been a member of BLI's lab team for almost 20 years, serving first as a Senior Test Technician and then, for over a decade, as Manager of Laboratory Testing. Today, Pete is responsible for driving the development of test methods and procedures, evaluating products, and overseeing all aspects of testing in his role as Director of U.S. Research and Lab Services U.S./Asia.
Director of Research and Lab Services, EMEA / Asia
David has over 21 years of experience in the imaging industry starting as a lab analyst during the early days of mainstream digital print innovation through to senior research and technical lab services management positions in both the USA and Europe. Back in 2007, David set up the BLI European lab and research operation in the UK and has overseen its year-on-year growth ever since. Before moving into the analytical and testing side of the imaging industry, David spent several years advising corporate and public sector clients for two FTSE-listed companies in the UK on a wide range of office imaging, software and communication solutions. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Reading University.
Group Director, Worldwide Consumer & Professional Imaging Services
Ed Lee is the Group Director of InfoTrends' Worldwide Consumer and Professional Imaging Services. In this role, he oversees the company's coverage of all activities in areas related to consumer and professional imaging and digital photography, including digital cameras, mobile devices, augmented reality, imaging technologies, photo software, photo printing and merchandise, social networks, and online photo services. Each service produces annual forecasts and in-depth industry trends analysis reports and conducts numerous primary end-user research studies throughout the year. Ed has extensive imaging industry experience, particularly in the areas of digital photography and electronic printing, which he acquired through tenures with Lyra Research, Xerox Corporation, and Eastman Kodak Company. Additionally, Ed earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and MBA from the University of Rochester.

With more than 25 years of experience in the IT & office technology industry, Randy leads InfoTrends’ and BLI’s continuous information service practices in the office technology area on a global basis. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Randy held senior positions at Ricoh, Sharp, Net2Phone, Minolta, and Canon in various roles of product & channel marketing, sales, training, service and professional services & solutions.

Jim is responsible for conducting graphic arts market research, market forecasting, custom consulting projects, and creating editorial content for product and market analysis reports.
Jim has been involved in the graphic arts and publishing industries since 1980, and has been a member of InfoTrends’ On Demand Printing & Publishing Consulting Service since 1995. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Jim worked at Linotype-Hell as an Applications Analyst and author of the company's Technical Information Series. He also worked as a freelance graphic designer in the textbook publishing industry. He has an M.S. Degree in Printing Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) and a B.A. Degree in German from Amherst College.

Group Director, Data Platform Services
Jon Reardon is the Group Director of Data Platform Services at InfoTrends. Jon provides research, analysis, briefings and consulting on the markets for software and services within small and medium-sized businesses and workgroups within large corporations. Jon produces InfoTrends’ annual software and services forecasts and industry trends analysis, strategic assessments, and manages primary vendor, channel and end-user research studies. He has more than 20 year’s industry experience. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Jon served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. and has held executive level positions in field service, technical support and engineering services with Minolta Corporation and Canon USA (Canon Computer Systems, Inc.). Group Director, Consulting & Forecasting
Steve Adoniou is the Group Director of InfoTrends’ Consulting, Market Research, and Forecast teams which support the entire InfoTrends spectrum of services globally. He is also responsible for managing consulting projects and multi-client studies that draw on his extensive industry knowledge.
Steve joined InfoTrends in 2004 and has industry experience dating back to 1996.
Prior to joining InfoTrends, Steve gained industry experience as a Production Manager for a leading graphic communications service provider in the Boston area. Under his guidance, the company underwent an extensive transformation from prepress services to digital color printing. In this position, he played a critical role in making major hardware and software investment decisions that enabled workflow automation and increased productivity. Steve then went on to become a web-to-print software product manager where he was pivotal in driving sales, marketing, customer adoption & implementation, and product development.
Steve holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst as well as earning Project Management certification from University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
