InkRouter Automates Industry-Wide Print Procurement at Print 17
Global Member Network to Advance Growth of Trade Printing
LAS VEGAS, NV – At this year’s premier event for the graphic communications industry, InkRouter will be presenting its ‘No-Fees’ print procurement solution for web-to-print storefronts and trade printers. The software solution is a 2017 Must See ‘Ems award nominee in The Future of Print: Technology Demonstrations category at Print 17, set for Sept. 10-14 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
InkRouter uses a cloud-based API to connect a global network of print resellers and trade printers. Developed by Farheap Solutions, the automated print procurement solution aims to cultivate a new model in job routing that advances the growth of trade printing. InkRouter XPRESS, developed for small print shops, offers a web-based order management dashboard that bypasses MIS integration.
“If more players in the industry focused on providing the tools for success in the same way Silicon Valley fosters technology growth, print will flourish,” explained Robert Godwin, director, business development, InkRouter. “Incubating print’s organic growth is core to remaining a relevant resource for marketing solutions.”
Using bi-directional API technology, InkRouter facilitates print orders between print providers and print clients. The software matches up to 100 attributes based on JDF/CIP4 compatible XML definitions to find the best landed cost for the job.
By implementing the advanced job routing capabilities and leveraging existing capabilities, print resellers can take advantage of in-country manufacturing across the U.S., Europe and Latin America, thereby reducing shipping costs and customs delays.
Accessing the global network through an automated software allows print resellers to fulfill print orders worldwide without added expenses or equipment on the floor. InkRouter’s ability to extend the reach and expand service offerings for print resellers creates new markets and ultimately feeds the organic growth of the printing industry.
Membership in the InkRouter global network is currently provided at no charge to the industry. To join the no-cost sales channel, visit Booth #837 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
