Xerox Targets Workflow Automation

Jun 3, 2015 12:22:28 PM
“Organizations can have a love-hate relationship with paper” says Xerox’s president of Large Enterprise Operations Mike Feldman. “It remains critical to everything from invoicing to collaboration, but it can also cripple productivity.” Handling large amounts of documents is not a new challenge: Many organizations, especially larger enterprises, have been looking for a way to minimize paper-based workstreams for years now. Xerox thinks it has solved the puzzle. The company has announced several new workflow automation solutions aimed at many vertical markets, with a special focus on large enterprises.

Workflow Automation Solution for Supply Chain Optimization uses the Datawatch Managed Analytics Platform to help streamline the other costly and error-prone manual steps of a product lifecycle. Xerox says that their solution reduces print costs as well as applying automated analytics to improve fill rates at the store level.

Coming off of its recently announced partnership with Hyland, Xerox has also announced workflow automation solutions for vertical markets such as Loan Application Processing, Health Records Information Management, and Human Resources Onboarding. These tailor-made solutions are designed to automate the processes critical to their industries.
