DocuWare Triple Threat Offers Three Times the Opportunity for Resellers

DocuWare Corp. has launched a major upgrade to its popular DocuWare document management family of products, presenting resellers with the ideal opportunity to upgrade current customers and bring new ones into the fold. Available in three editions—DocuWare Enterprise Server 6, DocuWare Professional Server 6 and DocuWare Business Server 6—the platform offers scalability and functionality for organizations of any size, from small offices to Fortune 500 multinationals. It’s also flexible enough to work in general office enviroments as well as just about any vertical industry; the company reports that DocuWare has gained traction among healthcare, government, education, finance and legal firms, to name a few.

The biggest change to the platform can be found in the Enterprise and Professional editions, where an all-new optional advanced workflow engine adds business process automation functions to the core—and exhaustively complete—document management features. Those DMS features include a robust document viewer, OCR for full-text and metadata indexing, batch processing, plus integration with just about every MFP make for capturing hardcopy documents directly into a DocuWare repository. And to cut down on error-prone manual entry, DocuWare has rolled out the new Intelligent Indexing Service, a fee-based cloud service that “learns” about various document types and where pertinent data falls on the page as each document is stored. This knowledge is then used to automate future indexing—no building templates or other configuration necessary—making it well-suited for companies that typically handle unstructured documents of varying types.
