Kodak Alaris has unveiled KODAK Info Input Solution, its newest take on document capture applications. The browser-based solution aims to reduce IT budgets and workloads while providing users with what the company calls the most-requested Business Manager feature: one-button-easy scanning from within applications.
The Info Input Solution captures hardcopy documents, automatically extracting and classifying the data. Other features include barcode recognition, point-and-click OCR (optical character recognition), indexing, annotating, and drag-and-drop file management of electronic documents.
Info Input also reduces IT budgets by minimizing costs associated with proprietary capture solutions. Further lending to IT budget relief is Info Input’s scalability, enabling organizations to add users later as needs increase.
