OKI Data Americas recently announced the addition of two new products to its lineup: the C532dn color printer and the MC573dn color MFP. Aiming to empower SMBs, the new cloud-enabled devices are designed around reliability and mobility and feature compatibility with Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint. With an ever-changing business landscape and an influx of millennials into the workplace, the company states it is focusing its energy on tailoring products to this evolving marketplace.

OKI understands that the modern day workforce is increasingly on-the-go and expects to be able to utilize technology whenever and wherever, so printers and MFPs must be able to keep up with demands and perform with a high level of reliability. And for the same reason, the company adds, integration with mobile printing methods and cloud services is also crucial. According to OKI, its devices’ one-to-many functionality, which allows retailers, for example, to deploy jobs to thousands of locations, is particularly appreciated by mid-size organizations. And the company’s commitment to customer service, evidenced by 24/7 U.S.-based customer support and competitive warranties, is especially appreciated by small-business customers.

Image quality is at the forefront of the new models’ design, too. Utilizing OKI LED print technology, the devices produce impressive color output, which can enable more marketing materials to be printed in-house rather than outsourced, according to OKI. Also emphasized is the devices’ ease of use, thanks to icon-illustrated, step-by-step processes for troubleshooting and a highly customizable touch-screen control panel.

For added security, they are also IPSec-compliant and support private print, as well as optional card release. The MC573dn includes SENDYS Document Explorer Lite, a document management solution, and optional connectivity to Office 365, Google Drive and Dropbox.
