Our experts are constantly producing content across a variety of topics. We also know that time is limited and there are plenty of reports flying across everyone’s desk at any time. This series hopes to illuminate a single data point within one of our analyses, forecasts, or research reports that could prove interesting and encourage you to consider reviewing the full deliverable.

It’s never too early to plan ahead for what the market can bring. With how supply chains, tariffs, and other outside forces can cause any industry to fluctuate—the more information you can find to help provide market stability, the better. Keypoint Intelligence does a lot of forecasting for our subscribers to show how their industries are going to grow while providing context with past, actual values drawn from our own data.

In our recent North American and Western European Document Image Scanner Market Size and Forecast reports, we covered projected shipments, revenue, install base of devices, and scan volume for the 2024-2029 period. We broke this data out across both regions by device segments: from the smallest Micro devices (most often priced below $250 USD, with speeds of under 5 pages per minute) to High-Volume Production devices (most often rated at over 100 pages per minute, with an average cost of over $35,000).

When it comes to changes to the install base in North America, we saw less than 5% growth in 2024 with Personal and Desktop Workgroup segments seeing the most. In Europe, we saw about half that amount in growth with the Personal Workgroup segment displaying the biggest increase.

Keypoint makes a point to go in depth with all of our forecasts, providing them in excel pivot formats with dynamic charts or in slide decks with the data charted by segments and other specialized cuts. Both file types are available for our North American and Western European Document Image Scanner Market Size and Forecast reports.

Subscribers can log in to the InfoCenter to read the North American and Western European Document Image Scanner Market Size and Forecast reports through our Office CompleteView Advisory Service. Non-subscribers can purchase the full report by browsing our Industry Reports page.
