Xerox Announces Organizational Restructure

Xerox revealed efforts to streamline its organizational structure to better meet client needs and adapt to the modern workplace. As part of its “Reinvention Commitment,” the restructuring, which includes workforce reductions, aims to increase long-term success and efficiency.

 

Brother Makes Bid for Roland DG

Brother Industries launched a hostile takeover bid for Roland DG Corporation, offering ¥5,200 per share, which surpasses an earlier management buyout offer by XYZ KK. Brother is a much bigger group, with sales of more than ¥815 billion, while Roland DG had a turnover of ¥54 billion in its most recent financial year.

 

Epson Europe Welcomes New President

Epson Europe BV announced the retirement of the current President, Mr. Yoshiro Nagafusa, and the appointment of Mr. Takanori Inaho as the new President effective March 31, 2024. Mr. Inaho has worked at Epson for more than 33 years, holding positions in Europe, America, and (currently) Japan as General Administrative Manager of the Sales & Marketing Division.
