PRINTING United wrapped up yesterday. And while you should definitely stay tuned for our coverage of the event on our public site as well as in the InfoCenter, we have this here handy infographic to keep you satiated on the production print front.

 

Production print, in its many shapes and sizes, gets plenty of buzz every year, but the buzzing is just a tad louder during a drupa year—and, yes, drupa happened this year. The space remains rife with opportunity, from traditional production as well as wide format that many of you dealers sell, to those more emerging areas of labels and packaging along with textile and apparel.

 

But are enough dealers selling production print? It can be a difficult space to break into if you don’t have the right resources. You need education—about the market, about how to service the equipment, about how to integrate it into that unique ecosystem. Do you know some of the reasons why the color digital printing space is consolidating? How much do you know about the shift from offset to digital?
