The TWAIN Working Group (TWG), the leader in imaging acquisition standards, and Keypoint Intelligence, a leading testing and certification lab for document scanning solutions, proudly announce the launch of a new Testing and Certification Program for TWAIN Direct and PDF/Raster. This subscription-based program provides developers, independent software vendors (ISVs), and scanning device manufacturers with comprehensive testing and certification services to ensure compliance with the TWAIN Direct and PDF/Raster specifications, streamline development, and improve hardware and software interoperability.
With thousands of automated scripts, tests, and verifications, these tools significantly decrease development time by quickly identifying areas of improvement and ensuring strict adherence to TWAIN Direct standards. The TWAIN Direct Testing and Certification tools are available immediately through select TWAIN Working Group member companies and independent lab testing and certification is available through Keypoint Intelligence.
“For many decades, Keypoint Intelligence has provided valuable research and consulting in addition to its world-renowned testing and certification services for document scanner and MFP devices,” said Randy Dazo, Chief Strategy Officer at Keypoint Intelligence. “Keypoint Intelligence understands the importance of thorough certification and especially for a network protocol such as TWAIN Direct where security is much more of a consideration than in the past. We are pleased to be working with TWG to offer this important certification service to our mutual clients.”
The TWAIN Direct Testing and Certification Program is available as an annual subscription service priced at $10,000 per year. TWAIN Working Group Board Members receive a 70% discount, bringing the cost to $3,000 per year, while Associate Members receive a 30% discount, reducing the cost to $7,000 per year. TWAIN Direct hardware testing and certification services are offered directly from Keypoint Intelligence.
