In Keypoint Intelligence’s 2023 IT Decision Maker Primary Research study, we wanted to see how much progress businesses have made on their digital transformation (DX) journey and how that progress will impact scanner manufacturers and office technology providers.
The survey targeted IT decision makers at SMBs (i.e., 50-499 employees). To qualify for the study, respondents had to be decision makers who influence purchase decisions related to business process/workflow solutions, print/scan infrastructure, or managed IT services (MITS). In total, we surveyed 300 US-based respondents from a range of industries.
In this deliverable, we focus on scan usage and buying trends. In other presentations based on this study, we drill into the survey results relating to print infrastructure usage and purchase plans as well as MITS needs and outsourcing plans. An Excel table of all results is also available, and a companion study of 200 IT decision makers representing Western Europe is also being published for Office CompleteView subscribers in that region.
