Prague set the stage for MyQ neXt Showtime 2025, an event that moved seamlessly between the modern energy of the company’s new headquarters and the baroque-style main hall of Troja Castle. More than a showcase of new products and their features, the event served as a blueprint for where print and document management are heading with artificial intelligence (AI), security, and hybrid-cloud innovation taking center stage.

Day One: HQ Tours and AI Insights

The opening day gave attendees a closer look at MyQ’s new headquarters and its R&D in action. The HQ demos also highlighted new security measures, with Innovatrics’ SmartFace platform enabling facial and palm verification for the MyQ X solution. These features extend Zero Trust to print workflows while keeping the process user-friendly.

Day One also featured an AI workshop with Jiří Benedikt challenging the audience: “How can you not just survive but thrive in the age of AI?” He then outlined his “5 AI Habits”, offering a practical mindset for working with generative AI.

Day Two: Activities, Workshops and Troja Castle

Day Two began with optional activities that added a personal dimension to the program. Although rain cut parts of the Prague walking tour short, participants still enjoyed the city’s atmosphere and ended the excursion with lunch aboard a boat on the Vltava. Others swapped umbrellas for helmets, taking on the Praga Arena go-kart track. Both activities reminded everyone that business events are also about building shared memories.

Back at HQ, Jan Dolejš hosted the second workshop entitled “Still not sure how to make use of AI tools?”. His session offered down-to-earth examples of AI in daily work, sparking plenty of questions from attendees eager to see how these tools might fit into their own routines. The program then moved to Troja Castle, where the main announcements were made.

Product Announcements and What’s Coming

  • MyQ Roger introduced a unique PrintSharing feature, making it possible to print without the need to download an app—producing and sharing the receipt on the go. Upcoming features will expand Roger’s scope with quotas, advanced reporting, AI-driven security, enhanced cloud spooling, as well as broader support for mobile and hybrid workplaces. For end users, these updates translate into more control over their printing, better visibility through reporting, and a smoother experience across office and hybrid work settings.
  • MyQ X unveiled printer provisioning, a redesigned terminal, and a new desktop client. Coming soon are the Windows Protected Print improvements, Brother and Konica Minolta device support, payment methods by Stripe, and streamlined provisioning for large fleets. For IT teams, the improvements mean easier setup and wider device support, while employees gain from stronger print security, new payment options, and a smoother overall experience.
  • MyQ X 10.2 was acknowledged with a “Highly Recommended” rating from Keypoint Intelligence, reflecting its strengths in enterprise level security, cost management, and native failover.

The Roadmap for MyQ neXt

The centerpiece was the unveiling of MyQ neXt that was presented not as a fusion of Roger and X, but as a new platform built for hybrid workplaces. It combines the best of both worlds along with the hierarchical administration, multi-vendor consistency, and flexible deployment across public or private cloud environments. Initial release is projected for spring 2026 with a feature-complete version by winter 2026.

As CTO Radek Tetík emphasized on stage, MyQ neXt is being designed to go beyond what exists today with fresh capabilities shaped around the realities of enterprise IT and (ultimately) to make work simpler and more secure on a daily basis.

Day Three: Wrap-Up and Meetings

The final day returned to the MyQ HQ for a series of partner and customer meetings, along with opportunities to see demos in a smaller group setting. This was another chance for others to connect directly with the MyQ team, ask detailed questions, as well as explore how the new features and roadmap might apply to their own environments.

Keypoint Intelligence Opinion

Across three days in Prague, the company balanced technology with human connection. With MyQ Roger and MyQ X continuing to evolve, neXt on the horizon, and new steps into AI and biometrics, the company is innovating in print and document management as well as showing how innovation, security, and people can all move forward together.
