Anne Valaitis, Principal Analyst in Keypoint Intelligence’s Workplace and Production Groups, sat down with the one and only Andy Slawetsky to discuss how the company has adapted to an industry in transition. The conversation focused on Keypoint’s newest research into digital transformation (DX) across verticals including healthcare, education, legal, and financial services.

 

Despite decades of “paperless office” chatter, the study found that paper remains deeply entrenched in business workflows—often due to cultural habits, compliance pressures, or integration challenges between systems. At the same time, organizations are beginning to weave artificial intelligence (AI) and automation into their processes, creating opportunity and complexity. Dealers that understand how to bridge print, scan, and digital workflows are in a strong position to remain indispensable.

 

Valaitis also noted that younger, digital-first employees entering the workforce will accelerate these changes, pressing organizations to embrace cloud-based solutions and smoother integrations.
