In today’s hybrid workplace, printing and scanning continue to play a vital role—but all organizations don’t share the same challenges. Some require enterprise-grade control over print environments and advanced integrations, while others need a solution that works right out of the box with minimal IT involvement. To meet these diverse needs, Y Soft has expanded its SAFEQ Cloud portfolio to deliver two solutions with one goal: smarter, simpler, and more secure printing. With the established SAFEQ Cloud Pro and the newly introduced SAFEQ Cloud Breeze, Y Soft gives customers and reseller partners the flexibility to choose the path that best fits their needs.

Cloud and Print Are Both Here to Stay

The move to the cloud is no longer just for big enterprises. Organizations of every size are looking to cut IT complexity, lower costs, as well as make printing and scanning easier to manage. Many businesses—especially those relying on outsourced IT—need solutions that simply work out of the box without servers or complicated setup.

Hybrid work has also transformed how employees interact with documents. People need to print securely whether they are in the office, at home, or on the go. Security remains a top priority, but so does simplicity: No organization wants to sacrifice usability for protection.

For reseller partners, cloud print management is a core revenue opportunity. With SAFEQ Cloud Breeze, the model becomes “sell and forget”, according to Y Soft. Customers can self-provision the solution and get fast setup as well as a 60-day free trial (with up to 100 licenses included), while partners avoid resource-heavy ongoing support. Meanwhile, SAFEQ Cloud Pro delivers the enterprise-grade control and compliance needed in more complex environments.

By addressing both small to medium-size business (SMB) realities and enterprise requirements, Y Soft positions SAFEQ Cloud as a flexible, future-ready platform that reduces upfront investment, scales with customer needs, and meets businesses wherever they are on their cloud journey.

SAFEQ Cloud Breeze and Pro at a Glance

Currently in public preview, Breeze is designed for organizations that want to get up and running quickly without servers, gateways, or IT overhead. Breeze is available in two editions:  Breeze Print delivers essential print management features, while the Breeze MFD license adds an device-resident applet to support secure pull print and scanning workflows.

The solution’s capabilities include:

  • Plug-and-play setup: Dealers send a sign-up link and, once the customer registers, the platform automatically creates a tenancy in the background.
  • Driverless printing: No need for multiple drivers. A universal driver supports most finishing options, with more added as demand grows.
  • Flexible printing modes: Includes “I just want to print” push printing for quick jobs, secure pull print for authenticated use, and location-aware printing that routes jobs to the nearest device.
  • Mobile & guest support: Android app allows Office document submission; guest printing is available but limited to 10 jobs.

SAFEQ Cloud Pro is built for organizations that demand advanced security, workflow automation, and fleet-wide scalability. Unlike Breeze, Pro is a mature platform that has already been proven in large, complex environments. It features:

  • Flexible architecture: Cloud-native SaaS design that also supports hybrid deployments with gateways, ensuring legacy devices remain usable. Pro is offered in multiple resiliency tiers: Core, Ultra, and Elite, and can run either as YSoft-hosted SaaS or on a partner’s preferred cloud provider.
  • Enterprise security: Certified under ISO 27001, aligned with the Cloud Controls Matrix, and developed in line with OWASP best practices. Pro integrates seamlessly with major identity providers (Azure Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace, PingID) and supports MFA.
  • Advanced workflows: In the Pro MFD tier, organizations gain powerful scan and capture capabilities: OCR, metadata capture, role-based workflows, and delivery to repositories like SharePoint, OneDrive, Box, Google Drive, or on-prem document systems.
  • Resilience: The SAFEQ Cloud Client supports offline printing, ensuring continuity even when cloud access is temporarily unavailable.

Keypoint Intelligence Opinion

Cloud print management is quickly moving from an option to an expectation. Businesses of every size want secure, reliable printing, but how they achieve that depends on their IT environment and available resources. What Y Soft has done well with the SAFEQ Cloud platform is recognize that one size does not fit all; instead, they are designing solutions around the complexity of environments rather than company size.

Taken together, Y Soft’s dual-track strategy strengthens its market position. SAFEQ Cloud Pro keeps Y Soft competitive at the enterprise level, while SAFEQ Cloud Breeze expands relevance to SMBs and organizations with outsourced IT. In our view, this portfolio approach makes Y Soft a more flexible and forward-looking partner, giving enterprises and channel players a viable path to cloud print management in an era where simplicity and security must go hand in hand.
