Keypoint Intelligence and Xerox recently teamed up to present a special webinar that should be of interest to all stakeholders in the office document technology industry. Keypoint Intelligence’s Randy Dazo, Chief Strategy & Product Officer, and Anne Valaitis, Director of Smart Technologies & Solutions, moderated the session and were joined by special guest speaker Mike Feldman, Executive Vice President and President of Xerox Corporation’s Americas Operations.
The discussion ranged from key office trends we have seen take hold in 2020 to predictions for 2021—particularly as they relate to the challenges organizations face as the workforce is divided among on-site, at-home, and hybrid-model employees. As Dazo pointed out in his opening comments, 2020 started with the promise of a new decade and very positive signs for our industry as a strong economy looked to further buoy capital spending for office and document initiatives. But this year had other plans, as the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered much of the economy.
The silver lining: The coronavirus has forever changed the way we work. Feldman explained how the new hybrid work environment—remote employees, in-office employees, and those who switch back and forth—presents challenges but also opportunities to accelerate the digital transformation to more efficient ways of working, and how Xerox products and services are addressing said opportunities.
